Remembrance Project Assembly

Remembrance Day Project Assembly

In today's assembly, each Year group took turns of sharing their work this week. Work included: recounts of soldiers, instructions to survive in a trench, war poetry and a discursive text on the symbolism of the poppy. In the assembly, children sang Keep the Home Fires Burning and Pack up Your Troubles in Your old Kit Bag. Reverend Alan joined our assembly to discuss the concept of fighting, whether it be at war or during school or home life. A big well done to all those who participated and spoke.
